Concrete Lab Inspector Specification OBJECTIVE: To assure that job site concrete tests including quality control, quality assurance, verification, and dispute resolution tests for concrete construction, used as part of the acceptance program, are performed in accordance with the Standard Test Methods, project specifications and other contract documents. The qualification requires a working knowledge of:
FDOT specifications on the field placement, sampling, and testing of Portland Cement Concrete including, - Section 346 Portland Cement Concrete
- Section 347 Portland Cement Concrete Class 1
- Chapter 9.2 Materials Manual “Concrete Productions Facilities Guidelines”
WRITTEN EXAM: One-hour, "open book" exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions. To pass the written examination, you must get a minimum score of 70%. RE-EXAMINATION: Failure of the written exam requires a re-examination on the entire written exam.
